Germán Cuestas

My mother introduced me to tango when I was 17, and from that day a new and important chapter of my life began. I was immediately fascinated by the dance and soon started seeking out the most renowned maestros in my hometown, Buenos Aires. A few years later, I began collaborating with El Motivo Tango school, where I worked as a teacher, co-organizer and DJ.
Music has always been at the heart of my love for tango. I studied music at a conservatory in Buenos Aires, and this background deeply shapes the way I dance, teach, and connect with the music. As a tango DJ, I enjoy creating unique musical journeys, and as both dancer and teacher I have worked in many countries across Europe. My personal way of dancing is rooted in musicality, connection, and movement quality, always striving to bring out the dialogue between music and partner.
Today I am based in Copenhagen, where I mainly teach at M2tango Studio.
