Teacher
Marina has been dancing tango since 2008. She began in her hometown in northern Argentina, where—while studying to become an English teacher—she also took her first steps in tango.
As the granddaughter of a milonguero, the essence of the dance has been in her veins from an early age. In 2013, she moved to Buenos Aires, where she met Rodrigo. They began dancing together in 2014, and for more than 10 years now they have shared the stage and the classroom as professional partners. Marina’s tango is deeply rooted in traditional styles, which she and Rodrigo transmit through both their dancing and teaching. Together, they have taught and performed in Buenos Aires—working at various tango schools and dancing at the most prestigious milongas—as well as internationally in cities such as Copenhagen, Seoul, Munich, Berlin, St. Petersburg, Turin, Ottawa, and Toronto. They have been maestros at festivals, jury members at championships, and resident teachers at tango schools around the world.
Since 2017, Marina and Rodrigo have been regular guests in Copenhagen, where they are now well known and deeply connected with the tango community. Passionate about sharing their knowledge, they have refined their teaching to make learning both enjoyable and effective, helping their students grow as dancers both on and off the dance floor.
