A Workshop on Moving in Close Embrace
For some dancers, close embrace is the most beautiful part of tango. For others, especially beginners, it can feel like crossing a very personal border!
So how do we go from “Are we really going to dance this close?” to “Wow, this actually feels good!”?
We’ll explore transitions between close and open embrace, and how to connect movements into flowing combinations.
During 2 days, we’ll explore how to make close embrace feel comfortable, natural, playful and enjoyable, even with someone who is not your everyday dance partner.
