My name is Nassia.
You’ll often find me on the dance floor at Copenhagen’s milongas or in the studio at M2tango, where I’ve spent many years immersed in the world of tango.
I’ve been dancing tango for over a decade and teaching for the past six years, with a strong focus on technique, musicality, and the deeper layers of the dance.
What draws me most to tango is its essence: the connection — with oneself, with another person, and with the music. I see tango as a shared language, a meeting point where movement, emotion, and rhythm come together in a deeply human experience.
In my teaching, I focus on developing body awareness and a grounded understanding of tango’s fundamentals. I often use imagery and metaphor, to help students access quality of movement and expression.
My background as dance therapist, as well as various dance branches like ballet, modern dance, and Gaga movement language continues to shape how I teach and how I support each dancer’s personal journey in tango.
