Teacher
I am a trained flutist from the Academy of Music of Southern Denmark (2018), and music has always been a central part of my life – both as a musician and as a dancer. For the past 13 years, I have practiced Argentine tango, and since 2017 I have been teaching tango. This dance has given me the opportunity to explore expression, not only musically, but also physically. For me, tango is a discipline that is about contact, security and the joint creation of something aesthetic and authentic. The dance balances strength and elegance, and the music acts as a guide for both individual and collective expression. As a teacher, I emphasize strengthening my students’ patience and self-discipline, so that it can be fun to keep learning. It is important for me to create a learning environment where there is room to make mistakes, learn and find peace in one’s own development process. When we dare to be present and listen to each other, an honest and strong expression emerges in the dance. For me, tango is more than just a dance; It is a space for inner reflection and connection. I find great joy in seeing my students develop their own voice in dance and develop both technically and musically.
