I grew up in Slovenia, have lived in Finland for a third of my life and am now exploring life in Copenhagen.
In 2011 I discovered tango for the first time. On my computer screen I saw a video of a short, round man dancing with a tall, slender woman – the dance was humorous, erotic, playful and passionate. It was the first time I was captivated by tango, but unfortunately the hobby was too expensive at that time.
In 2023 I moved to Copenhagen and discovered tango again – and now I have a hard time letting it go.
I am a fantastic example of the modern Jack Of All Trades. Trained as both a visual artist and a project manager, I know a bit of everything. I eat new computer programs for breakfast, develop sales strategies for lunch and create creatively in the evening.
As a teacher, my intention is to develop the dancers’ understanding of their bodies, the possibilities for movement within tango, and the quality that can be created when we dance together.
