Cumhur was introduced to tango in 2006 with the encouragement of his older sister Berna and plunged into the magical world of tango from the very first day. He became more interested in tango music, especially since he has a musical background. He deepened his work on this subject and published his book “Discographies of Tango Maestros” in 2019. He is a DJ at international tango events.
Concentrating on tango music enabled him to give importance to musicality both in his dance and in the lessons he gave. He always gives importance to communication and musicality with his partner in his dance. He always keeps these subjects at the forefront in his lessons. He believes that good communication and walking with music is the most basic step of tango.
